Other Ways
Of Being

In the context of the Nineveh region of northern Iraq, “Other Ways of Being” is a visual anthology which addresses how a narrative-driven design can better retranslate the destroyed cultural heritage in the region. The region is loaded with traces of British colonialism, the urban fabric partially emptied from the damages of past wars, and for decades been manipulated in the media. This anthology re-imagines a parallel narrative of a city charged with stories and artefacts on the printed page, which lasts longer than material ruin.
